Glass is one of the safest materials but is rarely used. On the other hand, plastic is one such thing that is found everywhere in products that we use daily, including food, electronics, and cleaning products. Most of those containers are identified by a symbol and number on the bottom. Therefore it is necessary to identify which is safe and which are not.

Safer plastics are essential products that can make the goods safer and good. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is commonly used for bottled water, soda, juices, cooking oils, and other foods. These kinds of plastics are safer as long as it's not exposed to heat such as exposure to sun or when reused. When reused or exposed to heat or left in the sun, this produces or leaches the chemical phthalate. It is quite dangerous for us. Phthalates have been linked to be hazardous to health. Otherwise, they are safe, and easily recycled for a variety of products. The process of recycling of PETE is simple and can be picked up through the most common recycling programs. And can be recycled into other products like fleece, tote bags, furniture, straps, paneling etc.

The second type is high-density polyethylene used for milk, larger water bottles, detergent bottles, personal care product bottles, and toys plastic bags. This plastic type is considered as usually safe. It is recycled for a variety of products when they pick up. It is recycled into laundry detergent bottles, pens, recycling containers, drainage pipe, lumber, benches, doghouses, small tables, fencing and much more.

Next is  low-density polyethylene is used for other uses and especially for squeezable tubes. They probably do not leach any such harmful chemicals. But these are not effectively recycled. Plastic shopping bags are ok if returned to many stores for recycling. Usually, it is recycled into things like trash cans, floor tile, compost bins, shipping envelopes, paneling, and so on. Polypropylene is also used for soup containers, yogurt containers, drinking straws, other sorts of containers, some plastic baby bottles, sauce bottles, and types of plastic bottles. These are also actively recycled through common ways.
